SUPER BOWL 54 OVERVIEW

The Chiefs beat the Niners 31-20 yesterday. Patrick Mahomes won the MVP. The reffing last night was very bad. The Williams touchdown to take the lead was not a touchdown. The Niners had poor clock management. After the Warner interception, the niners didn't run the ball. Jimmy G passed and got sacked. We punted and the Chiefs scored. The Niners then ran the ball and were moving the ball. Then Garoppolo passed. He threw it incomplete 3 times in a row. Then he got sacked. The Niners defense then just gave up. The Chiefs beat us when our defense gave up. The last 7 minutes and 13 seconds of the game, the Chiefs controlled the game. Shanahan is haunted by the Falcons loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl 51. The Falcons were up 28-3 with 2:12 to go in the 3rd quarter. The Pats came back and beat the Falcons 34-28 in OT. Shanahan was the Falcons offensive coordinator. He had Matt Ryan pass the ball instead of having Freeman and Coleman run it. They could have run the clock out. Reid had the most wins without a championship. He had won 221 games before yesterday. He had won a ring as a coordinator. All I can say is Andy Reid deserved it more than Shanahan. Go Niners!
